On April 9th 2022, the solidarity concert of the Georgian Philharmonic Orchestra directed by Nikoloz Rachveli is planned at the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre, which is devoted to the fighters for freedom of April 9, 1989 (Georgia) and Russian-Ukrainian War 2022. The music of Georgian and Ukrainian composers will be performed.

Part I: Nikoloz Rachveli’s Symphonic Piece “WHY” and Symphony N5 “About the WAR” by the Ukrainian composer Valeriy Antonyuk which is composed for the Georgian Philharmonic Orchestra and Nikoloz Rachveli.
Part II - Giya Kancheli’s “Angels of Sorrow” for the soloists, children’s choir and chamber orchestra.
Beginning at 19:30.
Ukrainian photographers will take part in the project offering activity
that will be organized in a specially prepared space of the Tbilisi State Opera Theatre Foyer.
The willings to take part in the activity by taking photos and donating to the Ukrainian people will be exhibited on the Instagram page with the corresponding text.
