Giya Kancheli would have turned 87 this year on August 10. Artists Union ConceptArt celebrates this date in Batumi Apollo cinema with screening of movie about the legendary composer, "Angels of Sorrow", this is the last movie made in his lifetime.

Teo Jorbenadze who is screen writer of “Angels of Sorrow” filmed in several cities (Berlin, Brussels, Antwerp, Baku, Tbilisi). The movie tells about an artist for whom freedom was the most important in every era.

 At the Apollo cinema you will meet Giya Kancheli’s young friends who are film participants as well. Nikoloz Rachveli, Giorgi Zagareli, Beka Gochiashvili and others will remember Legendary composer.

 This is a one of the events of Festival Program dedicated to Giya Kancheli.
